Physical Education curriculum in Key Stage 3. Our pupils are allowed to develop their range of skills, make and apply decisions, enhance physical and mental capacity and evaluate and then improve performances. Tactics and knowledge of rules are honed through an open ended and flexible timetable.

Staff promote healthy and active lifestyles whilst leaving the young people to make their own informed choices regarding extra-curricular involvement in sport. Blocks of lessons are taught in four of the six National Curriculum areas.

Our lessons aim to provide an insight into a diverse range of sports and promote an active and healthy lifestyle to be continued when pupils finish their compulsory schooling.

To aid the young peoples development they decide which extra-curricular clubs and teams to join and if they wish to partake in any further qualifications such as Sports Leadership (Level 1).
