Business and Enterprise

Our aim in Business & Enterprise is to inject fun into learning, whilst at the same time enabling students to gain an understanding of how the skills they learn through enterprise activities can be used in later life once they enter the world of work.

The aim of enterprise in our school is to nurture important skills such as communication, problem solving and team work, in our students for future life,

either in employment or further education. Our students are taught how to use their initiative and become independent, self-motivated learners.

With our specialist status we shall raise attainment in all subjects by developing innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

We shall enrich learning with enterprise activities which encourage economic and business understanding. This will be achieved by working in partnership with the wider community such as local schools and businesses and by sharing resources and good practice within our school.
